 - Documentation and certification for lifting equipment and lifting accessories
 - Lifting accessories
 - Types of accessories and use
 - Slinging techniques
 - Down rating of accessories
 - Sling angles
 - Communications
 - Establishing load weight and centre of gravity
 - Proximity hazards
 - Selecting lifting accessories
 - Verifying documentation and certification
 - Attaching accessories to different loads
 - Signalling for the lifting, transferring and positioning of loads
 - Rigging the machine to manufactures specification
 - Pre use inspections
 - Daily inspections
 
You will require a CITB Operatives H,S & E test passed within the last 2 year is required for this course. Click here for more information;

Training Course Description
The CPCS Compact Crane Training Course is designed for individuals who need to operate compact cranes, including those with little or no prior experience. The course provides comprehensive training covering both theory and practical skills, ensuring participants gain the confidence and competence required to operate compact cranes safely and efficiently.
Training includes instruction for endorsement A as standard, with the option to add endorsements B, C, or D based on individual requirements. Participants will learn essential crane operation techniques, safety procedures, load handling, and maintenance practices, all aligned with CPCS standards.
On successful completion, candidates receive the nationally recognised CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.

Duration 4 days (3 days training, 1 day testing)
PPE required = Hard hat, safety footwear, Hi-visibility vest / jacket, Gloves.
Start time: 08:30 till 16:30 (can run over and start earlier)
