This is a 7 day course as standard however can be reduced to 5 days based on experience.
This is the person who drives the crane, he will follow instruction from the Lift supervisor and Slinger/Signallers. Rigging the crane to manufactures instruction / risk & method statement.

You will require a CITB Operatives H,S & E test passed within the last 2 year is required for this course. Click here for more information;

The CPCS A60 Mobile Crane Operator Course is for people who work with mobile cranes in construction. Mobile cranes can be cable-controlled and mounted on tracks (crawlers) or rubber wheels. They can also be hydraulic-powered cranes that can extend and are usually mounted on a truck or are self-propelled.
To take the course, candidates must have passed the CSCS Health, Safety, and Environment test within the last two years. After completing the course, students will earn the Red CPCS Card and may be able to get more advanced qualifications.
The course ends with practical and theory tests, including a practical test that involves various crane operations.
- Guide duration is 7 days ( 5.5 days training, 1 day testing)
- PPE required = Hard hat, safety footwear, Hi-visibility vest / jacket, Gloves.
- Start time: 08:30 till 16:30 (can run over and start earlier)
- Candidate will get homework
