Training Course Description
The CPCS Crawler Crane Training Course is designed to provide operators with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to safely and efficiently operate a crawler crane in various site conditions. Suitable for both beginners and experienced operators, the course covers all key aspects of crane operation, including setup, lifting procedures, load management, signalling, and routine maintenance.
Through a combination of classroom-based theory and hands-on practical training, participants learn how to assess lifting plans, understand load charts, identify hazards, and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
On successful completion of the course and associated assessments, candidates will be awarded the CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.
Extra Course Info
- Guide duration is 7 days ( 5.5 days training, 1 day testing)
- PPE required = Hard hat, safety footwear, Hi-visibility vest / jacket, Gloves.
- Start time: 08:30 till 16:30 (can run over and start earlier)
