									The Mobile Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating mobile cranes to lift, move, and place materials on construction and industrial sites. Mobile Crane Operators must follow strict health and safety regulations, communicate effectively with site personnel, and manage loads efficiently to prevent accidents and maintain smooth workflow on-site.

 - Rigging crane to manufactures specification.

 - Establishing load weight and centre of gravity
 - Proximity hazards
 - Types of accessories and use
 - Slinging techniques
 - Down rating of accessories
 - Sling angles
 - Verifying documentation and certification
 - Attaching accessories to different loads
 - Signalling for the lifting, transferring and positioning of loads
 
You will require a CITB Operatives H,S & E test passed within the last 2 year is required for this course. Click here for more information;
CPCS Technical (Theory) test questions are available to review prior to attending the course.
The CPCS Mobile Crane Training Course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate mobile cranes on construction and industrial sites. The course covers essential topics such as crane setup, load handling, lifting techniques, load charts, signalling, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Through a combination of theory and hands-on practical training, participants learn to plan and execute lifts safely, inspect equipment, and communicate effectively with site personnel. Successful completion of the course and assessments leads to the award of the CPCS Red Trained Operator Card.
				- Guide duration is 7 days ( 5.5 days training, 1 day testing)
 - PPE required = Hard hat, safety footwear, Hi-visibility vest / jacket, Gloves.
 - Start time: 08:30 till 16:30 (can run over and start earlier)
