- Roles and responsibilities of personnel involved with lifting operations
- Documentation and certification for lifting equipment and lifting accessories

- Types of accessories and use, Slinging techniques
- Down rating of accessories, Sling angles
- Planning a lifting operation, lift plan & methodology
- Selecting lifting equipment
- Duty charts
- Communications
- Establishing load weight and centre of gravity
- Proximity hazards , Risk assessments
- Ground bearing & outrigger mats
- Signalling for the lifting, transferring, and positioning of loads
You will require a CITB Managers and Professional HS&E test passed within the last 2 year is required for this course. Click here for more information;

Training Course Description
This 5-day course is designed for supervisors and managers responsible for lifting operations. It will teach you the duties of the appointed person and how to fulfill them.
Upon passing the technical tests, you will receive the CPCS trained operator card (red card).
If you already have the CPCS Code A40 Slinger/Signaller qualification, you will also earn the CPCS Code A62 Crane Supervisor qualification.
